About the Department

The department focuses on Bariatric surgery, Advanced Laparoscopic surgery and all types of Gastroenterological problems.

Bariatric surgery division offers comprehensive obesity treatment programme that focuses on nutritional, lifestyle, metabolic and psychological causes of obesity. The center is equipped with advanced endoscopic studio which facilitates Upper GI Endoscopy, Colonoscopy, Enteroscopy and ERCP. All diagnostic & therapeutic endoscopic procedures are done as day care procedures.

Laparoscopic surgery is also known as minimally invasive surgery and this approach is well established by LMC staff which offer advanced laparoscopic techniques, quick recovery and at lesser cost. All advanced laparoscopic procedures are performed by our experienced staff led by Dr. Y. Krishna Mohan, Surgical Gastroenterologist and Bariatric surgeon and his surgical team.
