Gynaecologic Oncology
Sunshine’s Dept. of Gynaecology offers comprehensive diagnosis and treatment of cancer and pre-cancerous diseases of the reproductive organs including ovaries, fallopian tubes, uterus, cervix, vagina, and vulva.
In treating cancer and pre-cancerous diseases of the reproductive organs, Sunshine leverages a multidisciplinary team comprising gynaecologic oncologists, radiation oncologists, medical oncologists, and others. The team not just extends the required care but also attends to the emotional aspects of cancer diagnosis.
At Sunshine, each patient’s treatment plan is developed on a case-by-case method and is developed in close partnership with the referring physician. The attending physician will be responsible for the care and management of every patient, and remains in close contact with the referring physicians all through the period when care is extended with round-the-clock support from a qualified nursing team.
